A NIGHTLIFE MINDSET

When you go out with your friends, do you want to hear the same songs over and over again, or would you rather dance to remixes of your favorite songs with heart-pounding baselines and insanely catchy drops? Working alongside some of the best DJ’s in the country who create incredible edits of Top-40 tracks has greatly impacted my musical ear and how I interact with every person who I entertain.

Since many of my Greater NYC area nightlife DJ friends also perform at private events, linking up with them frequently has allowed me to constantly innovate my performance style and bring my nightlife mentality to the wedding & private event industry.

In addition to my weddings & private event schedule, I regularly perform at brunches, restaurants, bars, clubs, and on big stages. Check out some of my highlights below:

Big Stages

Over the past several years, I’ve been fortunate enough to play alongside my extremely talented DJ friend, Deerock, as he tours across the world playing incredible sets at festivals, nightclubs, & college campuses.

While playing on a stage for hundreds or thousands of people may be in a completely different environment than a private event, the adrenaline rush I get from being on stage is the exact same feeling I have when I perform for weddings!

Brunches

If you’re in the Greater New York City Area, there’s a good chance you’ve been to a boozy brunch or have seen one on your friend’s Instagram story. Since many restaurants and nightclubs will host brunch parties during the daytime, one of the funniest things I often see is when venues use black out curtains to set the mood for the event because when partygoers leave several hours later, they forget it’s actually light outside!

Brunch parties are incredibly fun because most of the time, they’re themed, which means I get to dress up in outfits I’d normally never wear to weddings, which I absolutely LIVE for.

Nightclubs

One of the absolute coolest parties I’ve ever played was a Bat-Mitzvah at LIV Nightclub in Miami. Dancing for hours across the giant stage with a percussionist, party motivators, and emcees was a night I’ll truly never forget, especially because Steve Aoki played on the exact same stage just a few hours after the party ended!

No, I didn’t get caked in the face, but that would’ve been pretty cool if I did, right?

Bars

Since I live in Hoboken, it’s hard for me NOT to walk over to one of my favorite establishments in between my private event schedule and surprise a packed room of partiers for a few hours.

As I’ve mentioned above, the DJ talent in the area is exceptional, so I’m always kept on my toes during sets (quite literally). If you happen to go out to a Halloween or Santacon bar crawl, be sure to say hi!

Birthdays

If you’re celebrating a milestone birthday, do it the right way by inviting about 100 of your closest friends and throwing an absolute RAGER with a DJ and myself!

Pro tip: elevate the occasion by renting out your favorite bar or nightclub - your family and friends will thank you later when you host the party of the year.

NOTABLE VENUES

In my free time, I absolutely love making mashups of popular songs. Check out one of my favorites below which I’ve been thankful to have performed for a few of my past couples. Let me know if you’d like to add this mashup to your must-play list. We can make it happen!
